MONASTRIES IN NANGCHEN

26/08/2010: Venerable Ashak's Monastery in Nangchen Village. Sadhu!

*************************

01/09/2010: We had the privilege to visit Gechak Gonpa Nunnery with 350 nuns/anis who devote their entire lives in meditation in Nangchen. The joy of having this opportunity to meet some of these nuns is beyond words and Venerable Zomkyi with her Aunt (5th pic from top: a practioner herself). Group picture with Venerable Chongpo Lobsang a highly respectable monk in Nangchen.

REBUILDING OF STUPA PROJECT

02/09/2010: The picture of a ruined Stupa, and another picture which Venerable Ashak has the intention to rebuild the Stupa of similar size.
The benefits of building or rebuilding a stupa is enormous, as the Stupa represents the Buddha's mind or Dharmakaya. It is explained by Sakyamuni Buddha in the sutra that it is extremely powerful to build a stupa for those who passed away, as it immediately changes a suffering rebirth into a fortunate rebirth with the opportunity to meet the Dharma.
Any donations is greatly appreciated. Sadhu

TRIP TO QINGHAI 2010

With some donations, we managed to get something loaded in the truck and in our car for the monasteries and our last visit to the Yogi Master (2nd last picture with an American disciple) and some of his disciples in his hermitage up in the mountain. More pictures will be uploaded soon.

GREEN HOUSE PROJECT

continued on the Meditation Centre Project...
29/08/2010: We were happy to get 2 anonymous sponsors for the Green House Project near the centre. Pictures from top, buying the building materials and the young monks had to manually pave the muddy road with pebbles for the lorry to deliver the building materials. This project will be completed within 20 days time. Sadhu!
